Dear Family and Friends of Pelham Community Church
As you’ve all probably realized, the COVID-19 crisis is stretching out longer than what many of us had expected, and longer than all of us had hoped, I’m sure. With government mandated lockdowns continuing and extensions to closures in all sectors of our society, Pelham Community Church will continue to do our part to help stem this pandemic. Therefore, on-site church activities and gatherings will continue to be cancelled until further notice.
Fortunately, as we’ve had to curtail our normal activities, we’ve continued to find ways to reach out to our members and adherents (and anyone else who is interested), especially those who are most vulnerable. As part of our initiative we are currently providing an on-line ministry. Please check our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/pelhamcc) for details, programs, and further information.
In the meantime, please remember to continue providing much-needed financial support to the church – to whatever extent possible, as we know many people are facing challenges, but others might even be in a position to increase their givings during these extraordinary times.
5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
(Psalm 62:5-8)
